Man vs. Debt Guest Post

What’s up, everybody?
Just a quick heads up that I was chosen as one of the five guest post participants for Man vs. Debt this week. My article, Rocky Balboa’s Guide to Kickin’ Ass, went up on Friday so if you haven’t had a chance to read it, swing by and let me know what you think. It’s about Rocky Balboa so how can you can’t go wrong
Man vs. Debt Readers
Hello to my new friends at Man vs. Debt and thanks for stopping by my blog! I won’t bore you with long introductions or lengthy diatribes here (trust me, there are plenty of those throughout the site) but just a quick note on who I am and what I write about:
-My name is Paul Norwine and I live in Austin, Texas. Oh yeah, apparently I have one foot in the grave (or so my friends tell me) because I just turned 30 on Wednesday (gasp!).
-I started PaulNorwine.com a few months ago to serve as documentation of my experience of leaving a “dream job” to actually pursue my dreams. Yes, I realize that’s a contradiction but it will make sense to you if you read the About Paul page.
-I write mostly about leveraging personal growth and lifestyle design strategies to help blaze your own path and live life on your own terms.
-I “occasionally” like to watch sports, drink beer, and use colorful language and my posts generally reflect this – so I am “apologizing” in advance if I offend you (not really but that’s just my disclaimer so don’t say you weren’t warned).
Okay, that’s enough for now. Some cool things on my site that you may want to check out:
About Paul – this gives a little more detail as to where I’ve been and what brought me to start PaulNorwine.com
How Do YOU Handle Being Scared Shitless – we have a great discussion going on in the comments section of the post and I’d love your feedback.
Kaizen | Business Model that Doubles as a Way of Life and Eliminating Self-Doubt | Beating the Bogeyman at His Own Game – these are two of my favorite posts (and most popular, incidentally).
I like visitors, and stumbles, and RT’s and all that jazz but I LOVE comments and subscribers. Ideally, this blog will be a hub for interactive discussions and I want you to participate (even if it’s to tell me I’m completely wrong on something). So don’t be a stranger, damn it! Thanks for stopping by PaulNorwine.com and I look forward to connecting with you soon!

Thanks, Oscar – it was a fun post to write so I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Good work Paul! In a way, it’s like winning the lottery being a guest poster there since he had some 29 entries?
Love the motivational stuff. I actually seek rejection whenever I try a new venture, so I can get the fire to prove folks wrong. I love it!
Hope to hear more from you, and see you at Financial Samurai one day as well.

Great post both here and at Manvsdebt. Pretty cool what’s going on over there.
When I’m scared it motivates me, so in fact I like the feeling it gives.
Your article like Karen says was quite inspirational.

Wow- how can you not love a post like that? Especially when I go there after dutifully following your suggestion to get my ass moving. I did. And I’m glad. The post was cool and now I have not only your blog to follow but a new one as well. We all need to step out of our comfort zones -what we are capable of will be astounding.
